Please test this, Unzip then copy it over your existing plugin via a FTP program like FileZilla, Do a Restart GUI.

 

If you got persmission error, Just "cd" to the plugin directory and enter "chmod 755 *.sh" it will fix the permissions.

 

Test and let me know.

With online update dm9x0 you have latest version of BackupSuite. (git 0d6dd36273445e1e29800cf504f48e3ca3de04d9).

 

No need to replace files.

Ok it's really hard for me to understand xz dreambox but even harder when I'm updating the plugin via my android 8 phone, Please replace these files:

with your original files in the plugin folder then remove the "plugin.pyo", Do a restart gui and test again please.

mkdir /tmp/root
mount -o bind / /tmp/root 
cd /media/hdd/backup
tar -cvJf dreambox-image.tar.xz /tmp/root
umount /tmp/root

No need to include then in backup.

Backup Suite is ok with nfi (All old models) and bz2 (dm9x0) images but we didn't have any xz tester till today

gutemine's way seems good but athoik is right too.

No need to include then in backup.

You don’t need to exclude them, because they are not present. The mount bind mounts in this case the rootfs filesystem to another path. In this path you don’t see any mounted sysfs, procfs, tmpfs and so on filesystems. Only all files which are stored in the rootfs. Just try and you will see what I mean.
