I have from ebay (search NESDR SMArt Premium USB RTL-SDR)

The difference between cheap Chinese and this one is that it uses stabilized precision Xtal for

precision frequency.Which is very important for good work.

But welle.io is not the same as dab-cmdline!

Maybe it's dab-cmdline issue, I can't tell it for sure.

Unfortunately the welle.io doesn't work on console, it requires QT and X.

If there is another library we can use, just let us know.

 

I tested intensively.

My RTL-SDR is perfect.No correction is required.The precision is with in 100 HZ.

 

When testing on a Windows PC with both programs based on dab-cmdline (sdr-j-dab-0.998.exe)

and other welle.io

 

welle.io works much better and I believe most of the problems come from that,

dab-cmdline is not perfect.

There is a problem in channel filtering ? and repeats bandwidth scanning ?

and maybe more reasons ?

 

I think While welle.io does this only once ,scanning , or when the signal is lost,

mostly works perfectly and quickly on Windows without  loss of synchronization (if you have good reception)

and seems to have automatic compensation for RTL SDRs that do not have a precision frequency.

is OK, but there is no precise frequency.

The deviation can be big (+- 10 Khz) especially until it is warmed up.

 

And they work for FM / AM / DAB / DAB + on windows and android programs.

For now, not so good on the Enigma plugin.

 

For use on radio amateur bands for USB modulation it is necessary

to have more expensive with precision frequency (USB is only +- 2Khz wide)

Im not sure you can use this with new RTL-SDR tuners

 

I read this

 

Using dab2eti the E4000 tuner is recommended as auto gain is supported with it. If you want/have to use a gain value you can specify it using -g.

 

E4000 is old tuner

New tuner is 

R820T2

 

R820T2 RTL2832U

Try the following gstreamer pipeline, float 32 bit and resample to match dvbaudiosink caps.

gst-launch-1.0 fdsrc ! audio/x-raw, format=F32LE, channels=2, layout=interleaved, rate=48000 ! audioresample !dvbaudiosink

Else upload a sample of output to check.
