Hi,

Yes indeed on my other box with SatDreamGr image the USB RTL-SDR stick is working out of the box in both FM and DAB and DAB+.

Even if I sometimes I need to play with PCM parameters (on SDGradio plugin) to have sound, by enabling or disabling it this seems to make so sort of reset.

But since we are on a thread on OpenPLi forum would be nice to have the proper .ipk to install on OpenPLi too.  ;)

The USB RTL-SDR stick that I use only cost me only 7,50€ delivered, this worth its money to test reception of DAB/DAB+ on our beloved STB.  :-)

You only need the drivers for dvb-t and actually for this feature they are fully unwanted as far I understand

Yes , It does not use DVB-T drivers

already a special driver for rtl-sdr other bin files are for test, tcp, fm..

Hi,

The dab-cmdline now chooses offset 0 (lke welle.io does) instead of going towards to 35 Khz limits.

https://github.com/A...cessor.cpp#L404

Also SDGRadio now displays the friendly dab channel as well.

PS. Any idea how to add negative vales in ConfigInteger?

Negative values is not possible as far I know... a plausible work-a-round is add a second config to indicate positive/negative for the other. As alternative also a slidebar/progress bar config could be chosen.
This one could do as far I remember pos/neg and I suggest this is the upper best alternative (untested)

Manually adding negative value to settings, accepts the value.

Maybe we can add an event handler, when up/down is pressed on ConfigInteger and negative values allowed in limits, to change between signed and unsigned?

In case you use slider, can you display currently selected value (eg next to slider?)

Thanks

Up down cannot be used as it selects a different config.
A slider indeed does not give you a value.
For now only an extra config can be used .

For info

About PPM Offset and impact on Dab Synced offset with my RTL SDR Nooelec (RTL SDR with stabilized frequency of the oscillator)

PPM   000 is about   25 Dab  offset

PPM   001 is about   200 Dab offset

PPM   010 is about  1900 Dab offset

PPM  100 is abot     1970 Dab offset

Negative values I did not test

I have Sync with all values , but with low offset , sync is faster.

For me Works perfectly.I receive everything that can be received from here with normal antenna
forty or so radio ensambles.
If we could reduce the CPU load, it would be 100% perfect

Well, not perfectly, after a while the music/sound stops, it is still possible to choose other ensembles but the sound won't appair anymore, after restarting the plugin, everything plays like it did before.

The CPU load is about 42%

Regarding the sound, please try without queue, it might recover.

There is already Viterbi alrgorithm available using neon extensions in ARM. If somebody can do something with those project would be great!

I am sure that load will drop < 20% maybe more.
https://github.com/theori-io/nrsc5/blob/master/src/conv_neon.h
https://github.com/srsLTE/srsLTE/blob/master/lib/src/phy/fec/viterbi37_neon.c

Didn't find anything for MIPS.

Also regarding sound we can feed directly the audio0, we just need to wrap RAW (or MPEG/AAC+) samples using PES. This will further reduce load.
