The thing that bothers me is probably something which is either difficult to change or is considered to be "normal".

What I mean is that certain icons and values in the infobar are incorrect before lock. They are remains from the previous channel. Shouldn't they be purged immediately upon zap the same way the resolution is?

If you look at the screenshots attached you will see what I mean. Before lock, the channel name, channel number and EPG are correct but most of the data in the right-hand side is old.

Why isn't it deleted immediately when zapped? Video resolution is deleted immediately.

I think it is about the service icon's in the infobar. Like Dolby, HD, HbbTV, Encryption, etc.

The should all be removed on zap, like other info is removed (for example the screen resolution).

Currently in use: VU+ Duo 4K (2xFBC S2), VU+ Solo 4K (1xFBC S2), uClan Usytm 4K Ultimate (S2+T2), Octagon SF8008 (S2+T2), Zgemma H9.2H (S2+T2)

Due to my bad health, I will not be very active at times and may be slow to respond. I will not read the forum or PM on a regular basis.

The should all be removed on zap, like other info is removed (for example the screen resolution).

And when you remove them you have a big chance missing them on some boxes. Because when the result is same on the next channel some drivers do not give a new status.

I'm 100% sure here as I tried to solve it. Thanks due to this post I 'learned' to remember why we had this side effect....

So I'm afraid we have to 'live' with this small cosmetic thing...

OK, but for resolution there is no issue? It is cleared on zap immediately.

But perhaps that was some time ago.

Maybe now things have changed, at least for the new models or models with more recent drivers?

Or maybe it is only the obsolete models that had problems.

Worth checking again.
