Hi,
I'd like to ask about the possibility of add the system plugin Fast Channel Change (FCC) to OpenPLi image. Is it possible in future?

It is a not a plug-in. At this moment it is a huge patch offered by vu. And e.g. at the time of ci(+) required and cards that go in punishment mode when you asked too much of it FCC is somehow not really profitable regards the work to implement it properly... and a zaptime from half a sec is also sufficiënt...

I'm using nc+ card (cameleon) directly in box reader that's why there is no problem with CI+. When I tested FCC on other images the channels zapping very fast.
PLi is my favorite image that's why I'm asking about the plugin with the same functionality as FCC.

You always continuiusly 2-4 channels for FCC... it is fine when someone offers the right structured patch. The one otter images accepted was not accepted here..
And for our dutchman the feature does not work as our cards go black within one or two hours zapping around..
FCC is not really fast zapping. In fact you receive more services at once... and switch the output to a service already tunes.

I know how the FCC works. Many people in Poland for example using FCC when they use local card in internal reader. Will be great if FCC will be available in PLi, people in Netherlands for example may disable this function if don't work properly with Dutch cards.

Maybe when something in Poland can make it in a proper wat with a nice FCC pretjne Function and switch to encoder output Function so basically the fcc smart stuff could be arranged in python..

It's not a point of discussion, guys. FCC makes a good impression when the channels are zapping. I just asked about possibility of implementation FCC in PLi images. If impossible just answer like that and end of discussion.

It is a matter of listing the plusses and the minusses of a feature, and with the result find someone who is willing to spend their spare time implementing it.
The result of this is that for the moment, we see not a lot of plusses (it only works for a specific group of people, and only for boxes with plenty of tuners), quite a few minusses (it will result in a lot of disabled smartcards or server connections due to excessive requests), and not a massive improvement in zap time.
And this means we're willing to look at it if someone provides the correct code for it, but we will not spend any of our free time on it.
Currently in use: VU+ Duo 4K (2xFBC S2), VU+ Solo 4K (1xFBC S2), uClan Usytm 4K Ultimate (S2+T2), Octagon SF8008 (S2+T2), Zgemma H9.2H (S2+T2)

Maybe the best way is to ask in vuplus for a code? Functionality of FCC is also encrypted in enigma2, maybe if You ask someone from vuplus can develop the codes for FCC?

We have the vuplus code. But its implementation sucks big time, this was already mentioned earlier.

No. You only need a lot of tuner at least 3 better a lot more and they do not have to be FBC ones. For FBC you also do not really need unicable.

The 'need' for Unicable for the FBC-setup depends on the provider; if he neatly offers his services on one 'quadrant' (Hor/Ver - High/Low) there is no need for any sophisticated LNB-setup.
