How would WE be able to update YOUR iptv channel list? We don't do IPTV?
Currently in use: VU+ Duo 4K (2xFBC S2), VU+ Solo 4K (1xFBC S2), uClan Usytm 4K Ultimate (S2+T2), Octagon SF8008 (S2+T2), Zgemma H9.2H (S2+T2)
Due to my bad health, I will not be very active at times and may be slow to respond. I will not read the forum or PM on a regular basis.

A little more awake I realise you not looking for epg data...
No, it is about updating an IPTV channel list from an illegal provider.

There are no legal providers that provide a service of regular channels via TV over IP that allow you to watch the streams without DRM on an Enigma box and supply a script for updates . It is that simple.
If you know one provider that does, I know lots of people who like to know who exactly.
The main reason we hobby users with an open receiver are being forced to use CI+ modules or even have to switch to closed provider hardware is the enormous illegal cardshare and IPTV market. So we can't do what I want to do is because people like you don't want to pay for the services you get. We don't like illegal activities at all, and certainly not condone it on this forum.

Please inform me about the legal iptv provider for enigma2 decoders. I am looking for it a long time now. Everytime someone says he has it legal and I ask for more information, they go silent.
So brandobras please do not go silent and share your legal iptv provider for enigma2 decoders with us.

why do you say illegal?
there are also people who watch legal iptv lists on Enigma 2 decoders...
don't be like the kettle who thinks that the pot is black...
regards
People who watch legal IPTV streams on there STB know how to add the IPTV channel properly in there channel list. They have to create there own script so they know where it is and how it works.
So clearly you don't know how your IPTV channels are coming from and how they are inserted in your channel list, so clearly your IPTV list is illegal.
I know that sellers told you that they are legal and that they advertise publicly on 2nd hand auction sites, on Facebook and other internet site with logo and channel list but they are all illegal.
Yes some channels can be watched legally thanks to IPTV but they can also be geo-blocked so not sure that they will work from your country.

So, it's really unbelievable that i have to justify myself, and indeed i don't have to, but i will do.
there are a lot of free IPTV services online that propose you FTA channels list.
and if you, like me:
1. live abroad
2. would like to watch tv in your own language from time to time
3,. are not allowed to mount a parabolic where you live but
4. think that this situation will change and someday in the near future you can have your parabolic
you maybe think that an enigma2 decoder can be a good solution and even if you don't know nothing about it, you buy it.
but to be sincere, after some months of experience in this world, if i could go back i would chose an android tv. Way easier, with a lot more of apps and possibilities, and most of all with a community behind that is more prone to help than to judge others, as it unfortunaly happens here.
said that, I ask the administrator to kindly delete my account, as I won't follow this forum anymore.
by the way, if any other of you would like to certify that he's not doing any illegal stuff with his decoder, please add his post to this thread
bye

You don't have to justify yourself. As stated before, there are lots of people looking for a legal IPTV provider, so if you have one, we really want to know.
If not, the forum rules are very clear, we don't allow any discussion about illegal activities on this forum. That you think it is morally acceptable to ruin it for us paying subscribers is entirely up to you, but we don't, and we don't like people that do.

Besides that, the usual "courtesy rules" for community support apply. You do some effort, others do some effort. You do no effort, why would others be interested in spending effort? The ultimate of that: start demanding stuff. That's a very quick way to have everybody completely ignore you.
