This is a driver problem and must be addressed by VU+ itself. OpenPli only allowes original drivers through their BSP

No need to restart the receiver though. Go to the satellite finder and twiddle a bit there.

The problem has been reported.

A 6.2-rc is in test at the moment, which has newer drivers. I expect the RC to come online for public testing soon.

Currently in use: VU+ Duo 4K (2xFBC S2), VU+ Solo 4K (1xFBC S2), uClan Usytm 4K Ultimate (S2+T2), Octagon SF8008 (S2+T2), Zgemma H9.2H (S2+T2)

Due to my bad health, I will not be very active at times and may be slow to respond. I will not read the forum or PM on a regular basis.

Switch to VTi 13.0.6 if you want this to work. As long as the BSP for OpenPli is not updated you will have this problem.

The VU-BSP for PLi holds the 21/02 drivers for the 4k models (see https://github.com/v...26c0724334c3604). VU has released later drivers, dated 28/02, not in the BSP, but the comitlog of the latest drivers  drivers do not state anything related to the here reported issue.

I can confirm the issue has been solved in the drivers included in the upcoming 6.2 release.

Ok great thanks. So can the image be updated from 6.1 to 6.2 or I would have to make a fresh install?

Is it possible to add this fix to 6.1 image please since 6.2 is taking too long to for final release?

When you would show some interest in testing the RC 6.2 you might notice that this build is pretty stable.

Yea I am already using the RC 6.2 and it is stable enough for me. But a friend of mine who does not know how to flash a new image is still using 6.1 and so still waiting for final 6.2 since he cannot update with simple software update.

Teach him how to flash an image together with restoring a backup.

Has to happen anyway, otherwise that friend will be stuck when we move to 7.0, which does require a new flash. ;)

I think it's better we be the judge of that?

I am not complaining about the issue of 6.2 final here. All I asked was if the above fix (which has been working since almost 2 months) could be added to the 6.1 image.

I dont see why you all had to rush over me for?

No, we're expecting 6.2-release in a few days, after which 6.1 is retired. And updating 6.1 will give your 6.2, so it's a waste of time we want to avoid.
