OMFG....just when I thought I understood a tiny little bit how it works...

I had to reflash OpenPli 6.1, which went fine.

Then my back up did not have the iptv player from SamSamSam installed,

so I decided to re-install that with telnet (iMac High Sierra 10.13.2) through the program iDreamX.

This has always worked fine until now but..

When I start a telnet session, it immediately closes.

I tried to go back to OP6.0 but that gives me the same closed telnet session.

Anyone that can advise me how to solve this?

Is there another way to re-install Samx3's iptvplayer?

Okay, I just noted that discussion about iptv player is not allowed.
The problem I have is with telnet though which automatically closes immediately after I start a session.
Hope anyone can help.

Hi,

Search for a tutorial on the internet that start with: "On a Mac it is easy...."  (but nothing is easy).

Apple decide to drop support for telnet on there latest version.

So open up a terminal session and type this:

nc ip_of_you_box 23

You will get a telnet access to your receiver.

there is an item that links to: https://apple.stacke...a/312273#312273
