Can you also verify the performance with systemtime disabled.???

Problem is not systemtime, problem is clockfix in oscam. You should compile oscam without clockfix anymore. It's not needed especially after this commit. I quote from the commit message:

This commit should remove the reason why oscam added the so-called CLOCKFIX (Which simply reverts all time changes in E2 by setting the last known time again), so preferably build oscam WITHOUT clockfix now.

--wait 0 in Oscam script did the trick for me.

I use Juli13 EMU compiled Oscam, and it's all OK.

Does it contain the clockfix? You can check it in the oscam.version file through the webif.

Maybe a combination of --wait 0 with an oscam binary WITHOUT clockfix will fix the issue permanently.

Yes, I use systemtime.

Could you please help me find a recent oscam build with clockfix for oscam emu, both for ARM and MIPSEL?

FWIW, using systemtime set in ntp server and oscam with clockfix, time cannot be set/changed. oscam prevents any changes. This is another reason not to build oscam with clockfix anymore.

Here is a mipsel build of oscam-emu without clockfix that I use in my box http://www2.zippysha...9j5eY/file.html I don't have an arm build.

Freon, maybe in your case the --w 0 did the trick but in my case it helped for just a day or two (or maybe I did not restart the box so no issue was observed). But later the issues got back.

I will try to use the oscam nautilus7 posted a link to. I will also look for an ARM version for another box.

WanWizard, no clockfix next week? :)

I have the same problem with Oscam-emu. I have to restart it after turning on the receiver twice. When I switch to Oscam and then to Oscam-emu starts immediately.

I've bumped Oscam to r11398, added Oscam-emu, and ran a test build for the ET9000. Can you check if it all went ok before I start a full build?

11398 should work ok with latest emu. I am not sure for 11399 though.

I am not at home now so I can only test this night (OpenPLi 4 only). UNless someone else can test it earlier.

By the way, I would rather update oscam-emu through telnet. Can you please give me the commands?

It wasn't in the feed before, so I don't think you can update it.

To be sure, save your config, remove it, install it from the feed using

opkg install enigma2-plugin-softcams-oscam-emu

and copy your saved config back.

After that has been updated and tested in develop, it can be added to the release builds if needed.

The command did not work but I installed oscam-emu from 4.0 feed and it seems to be working (no clockfix).

odd, that should install it from the 4.0 feed?

But ok, it works, so I can start a generic build tomorrow.

Hello WanWizard,

Are you going to update oscam build used in HD51?

At the moment it is 11391:

1970/01/01 01:00:13 00000000 s >> OSCam << cardserver log switched, version 1.20-unstable_svn, build r11391 (arm-oe-linux-gnueabi)
