@ Moderators
Are we allowed to discuss the Wetek 1 here? If not, please delete the parts of post not alllowed

1. There was no wireless lan plugin in the image. Can the machine features be adapted please?
${@bb.utils.contains("MACHINE_FEATURES", "wlan", "enigma2-plugin-systemplugins-wirelesslan", "", d)} \
2. The CPU was not recognised properly

3. Is there a way to stop it from trying to use the sd card as a storage device and recognise/treat it the same as "internal flash"

  1. We don't have access to the BSP, so we can't change it. The wetek play is going to be dropped completely as of OpenPLi 7, currently only OpenPLi 4 is still being build.
  2. What is in "/proc/cpuinfo", if that doesn't exist, in "/sys/devices/system/cpu/cpu0/cpufreq/cpuinfo_max_freq" or in "/sys/firmware/devicetree/base/cpus/cpu@0/clock-frequency" ?
  3. You mean the automount in /media? Any idea how "mmcblk0p3" could be detected as a "system partition"?

Currently in use: VU+ Duo 4K (2xFBC S2), VU+ Solo 4K (1xFBC S2), uClan Usytm 4K Ultimate (S2+T2), Octagon SF8008 (S2+T2), Zgemma H9.2H (S2+T2)

Due to my bad health, I will not be very active at times and may be slow to respond. I will not read the forum or PM on a regular basis.

It is no point it mounting a 20MB partition "/media/wetekplay". I am not sure if this is the default location it sees. You obviously get the "not enough free space messages".

The image is located on "/media/uSDextra" For all intents and purposes, this is the internal flash

Hey :)

Is it possible to add the AXAS E4HD?

Unfortunately, I have no idea about it but I can build it easily with Ubuntu 17.10.1

I saw that the E3HD is here..

Is also possible for E4HD?

Thank you for the good work! :)

Best regards,

Jamal2367

Why don't you compile it yourself? All you need is on our github.

That is a bit confusing, since there is also an E4HD box (that isn't a 4K box). So essentially the machine name is wrong.

@Abu Baniaz.

Great, a non-standard cpuinfo ("Processor" instead of "model name").

What does "readlink /dev/root" give? That should block the OS partition from being mounted?

So I have to add normal "e4hd" which is just a hd STB and you need to inform bsp managers to change that machine like "e4k" or "e4hd4k" or "e44k"...

We've been in contact with Axas, but no action to rename the machine in the BSP. So we resorted, for the time being, to at least change the display name on the site.

Ideally Axas changes the machine name in the bsp from e4hd to e4hdultra or e4hd4k or something... We might have to give it another try...

I'd be grateful if you can advise what to do to block the partitions from being mounted.

So uSDextra isn't the OS device, that is correctly not mounted. I have to think about how to deal with this.

Can this wait a bit? I'm currently in the middle of addressing a huge security issue in another of my projects...

Take your time. Took me a while to find it, was boxed away. Thanks for your assistance so far

When you flash an image onto sdcard, there is one FAT partition, about 20MB. There is another partition created where the image is stored. The card in use on my device is 8GB.
