Well, for us it is not so interesting what you want to support, but what we want and can support. ;)

As most vendors are simply what I call box-pushers, and not manufacturers with their own development staff, I don't expect they have people that monitor github and take action right away. Chances are their developers are hired help, which means any work they do is followed by an invoice.

From a commercial point of view, I can understand that they want to control that cost. From an end-user point of view, that may be another reason why you don't want to select a cheap-as-chips box, it is cheap for a reason...

Currently in use: VU+ Duo 4K (2xFBC S2), VU+ Solo 4K (1xFBC S2), uClan Usytm 4K Ultimate (S2+T2), Octagon SF8008 (S2+T2), Zgemma H9.2H (S2+T2)

Due to my bad health, I will not be very active at times and may be slow to respond. I will not read the forum or PM on a regular basis.

Many answers to your question can be found in our new and improved wiki.

I understand but they saw and closed the merge request because they don't care about confusing people and I just wanted to help nothing more.

Our https://github.com/P...extra_rc_models is ready!

You can follow our examples like what I did for wetekplay2 and add your box ;)

They closed it? I missed that.

It could also be because we reqested it to be called e4hd4k, instead of e4hdultra, which is more in line with the other machine names. I guess we'll have to wait and see.

Well then, I guess we can always rename the one in our unofficial bsp-layer: https://github.com/P...chine/e4hd.conf

to: e4hdwithout4k.conf :P

Wetek play not building. Error with "openpli-oe-core/meta-openpli/recipes-openpli/enigma2/enigma2.bb:do_patch". Would be grateful if this can be looked at when you have a chance.

chanell switching is very good.

add the following line to your meta-openpli/conf/distro/openpli-common.conf file:

LOCALE_GENERATION_WITH_CROSS-LOCALEDEF_forcevariable = "0"

update about 2nd wp2 build.
 first impression after boot is wonderfull.
its very light and fast image compare to buggy openatv image.
remote working perfect..no tention of exit button now.
i manage remote with hotkey function
and all buttons are now working to my will.
chanell switching is very good.
sorry but can we talk about emulation or is prohibited here?

So we won the medal LOL :D

Do what you want with OSCam or OSCam-Emu but keep it to yourself please :)

@HFX

We are busy with FrontLED and display (awaiting for testing).

But About Tuner problem.

DM920 doesn't recognizes your tuners as FBC.

FBC tuners should be displayed in one line

Tuner A-H        BCM45308X (DVB-S2)

See Nimmanager.py

	def getFriendlyFullDescriptionCompressed(self):
		if self.isFBCTuner():
			return "%s-%s: %s" % (self.getSlotName(self.slot & ~7), self.getSlotID((self.slot & ~7) + 7), self.getFullDescription())
		#compress by combining dual tuners by checking if the next tuner has a rf switch
		elif self.frontend_id is not None and os.access("/proc/stb/frontend/%d/rf_switch" % (self.frontend_id + 1), os.F_OK):
			return "%s-%s: %s" % (self.slot_name, self.getSlotID(self.slot + 1), self.getFullDescription())
		return self.getFriendlyFullDescription()

So it seems this code doesn't work for dm920

	def isFBCTuner(self):
		return (self.frontend_id is not None) and os.access("/proc/stb/frontend/%d/fbc_id" % self.frontend_id, os.F_OK)

So the question is what is in:

/proc/stb/frontend/0/fbc...

/proc/stb/frontend/1/fbc...

...

In OpenATV i see /proc/stb/frontend/%d/fbc_set_id

Anyway..Something goes wrong here.

If we can fix this, your tuner problem should be solved.

Hi

How long does your system need to build?
I am now on the fifth try after a few mistakes and it on 45% after an hour and 30 minutes :/

System:
VirtualBox with Ubuntu on Windows 10 x64
AMD FX 6300 CPU (6 Cores)
ATI R9 270x OC 2GB
20GB RAM DDR3
500GB HHD (VM Ubuntu is installed on this)
250GB SSD Samsung EVO

Our dedicated buildservers use Core i7-7700K's with SSD disks. A complete machine build from scratch (with an empty build directory) takes a few hours.

In a VM it will take quite a bit longer, the compile tasks are very CPU bound. Check BB_NUMBER_THREADS and PARALLEL_MAKE in your conf, incorrect configuration, related to available cores and threads, can slow things down as well.

Thank you for your Tip i will check the files :)

I'm almost done 99% and i got this error...
