This is strange but I think it is related to the devices that use S912, a different user on a different project of mine also reported that he can't boot the kernel I compiled, and his Uart log also stops at the same line and indicate that the board doesn't load the initramfs, his board is khadas vim2 which also uses S912.

It's probably something missing in the kernel I just don't know what it is and don't have a board with S912 soc for testing.

 

I will keep digging.

dm920 Boot OK. On Flash no more that strange warning. WebIf not working, can”t do screenshots via web interface. So I add photo, made with iPhone.

The image boot, that's the most important thing now.

Sumo branch lacks some commits from develop branch.

And probably some missing Python modules.

I'll check that later.

Test images dm900 and dm920.

Built with sumo branch openpli-oe-core, pli-extras and meta-dream.

Sumo has a newer openembedded-core than develop brach with:

 

-gcc 7.3.0

-glibc 2.27

-openssl 1.0.2o

-Python 2.7.14

etc.

 

No feed, so no plugins and no updates!

Just for test if the image boot or not and to test some basic functionality.

Sorry, Screenshot/webif starts working after restart. It was my fault, that I wished to do this on the fly without the box restart.

I've tested k1plus image dear Persian Rrince.

-Boot is not normal for me, still same.boots or not boots and stays on black screen.

-When boot is normal,restarting the box and it goes to "no signal" on tv screen and no booting.

-There is no Wlan settings.

-Remote is OK.

-Network is OK.and webif is OK.
