Neutrino has no skins, that was a hint for people who own hd51 to test a Neutrino image in another boot partion beside OpenPLi Enigma2

I let the cat out of the bag, the simpliest way to test a Neutrino Image

download neutrino-image_ofgwrite.zip

unpack the .zip i.e. on  /media/sda1, now put Neutrino on X boot bank

ofgwrite -mX /media/sda1/hd51

This thread is on fire lol.

Ya'll should be very thankful to persian prince for adding all these bsp-layers for your favourite receivers.

I'm very occupied with some personal things atm.

Also I'll still be busy in the following weeks, redecorating the house so I won't be very active.

So please, unless you'd like to come join me at home with some chores (like cleaning the backyard or something :P), don't PM with requests.

Attention:

I have no idea about the compiled images (boot, dvb support, ...) as only WeTek provide enigma2 support for amlogic chips.

I need to borrow some codes from https://github.com/o...ands/meta-wetek and https://github.com/oe-alliance/oe-alliance-core/tree/4.1/meta-brands/meta-odroid (Future updates as I have no time ATM)

Probably we need e2 procfs like https://github.com/o...cfs-odroidc2.bb (Even for raspberrypi models) and I think we can use https://github.com/PLi-metas/e2proc

Do I understand correctly that its now possible to install openPLI on Wetek Play 2? Are these build avaible somewhere or do I need to compile myself? Do I understand correctly that for Wetek Play 2 the build command is "MACHINE=meson bitbake openpli-enigma2-image"

Today I flashed DM900 with provided test image.

FTP doesen't work. SSH and telnet works.

Impossible to load channel list...

No repository - so impossible to fix FTP...

Display on box is slightly shifted to the left.

MAY THE FORCE BE WITH YOU!

Hi,

Since people keep asking me how to build OpenPLi for non-supported receivers such as the Dreambox DM800 or Spark receiver, I've came up with an easy to use add-on.

The pli-extras module, is an unsupported, unofficial (and likely to break) addon for allowing you to compile homebuild images for your receiver.

This is the list we support so far:

Dreambox:
  • DM7020HD
  • DM7020HD V2
  • DM7080
  • DM800
  • DM800Se
  • DM800Se V2
  • DM8000
  • DM500HD
  • DM500HD V2
  • DM520
  • DM820
  • DM900
  • DM920
Fulan (spark):
  • Spark7111
  • Spark7162
Raspberry Pi:
  • Pi 1
  • Pi 2
  • Pi 3
  • Pi 3 (64bit)
  • Pi Zero
INI:
  • Atemio6000
  • Atemio6100
  • Atemio6200
  • Atemio Nemesis
  • Beyonwiz T2
  • Beyonwiz T3
  • Bwidow X2
  • Herobox EX4 HD
  • MB Hybrid
  • MB Mini Plus
  • Opticumtt
  • Xsolo Mini 3

Steps to build:

1. Clone openpli-oe-core somewhere:

git clone https://github.com/OpenPLi/openpli-oe-core.git
2. Enter the openpli-oe-core directory:
cd openpli-oe-core
3. Clone pli-extras:
git clone https://github.com/PLi-metas/pli-extras.git
4. Initialize and update all repositories:
pli-extras/update.sh
5. Build for your favourite machine:
cd build
source env.source
MACHINE=dm800 bitbake openpli-enigma2-image
6. Optional build the feed for your favourite machine:
MACHINE=dm800 bitbake openpli-enigma2-feed

Note: Each time you run the command from step 4, all git repositories will get updated to their latest versions (getting bugfixes etc..)

change in .gitmodules git@github.com into https://github.com

Hi.

The update script and even starting from scratch was failing. So I couldn't run a build or even update.  (I was not trying to build an axus machine).

Following your instructions and changing the entry for axus in .gitmodules to the following worked.

[submodule "meta-axasuhd"]
    path = meta-axasuhd
    url = https://github.com/Axas-UHD/meta-axasuhd.git

Many thanks. Very much appreciated

I do not know how to do this.
very good linux knowledge
what do i need to do
Thank you..

It might be better to wait and see if the pull request is merged first.

If you cant wait or it isn't

Navigate to /openpli-oe-core

Find the file called .gitmodules, right click on it, then select open with gedit (or whatever application you have), make the change. save and close the file

If you cant wait or it isn't

Navigate to /openpli-oe-core

Find the file called .gitmodules, right click on it, then select open with gedit (or whatever application you have), make the change. save and close the file

Adding to the above:

Normally .gitmodules is hidden, so you have show hidden files first by going to view tab in the file browser.
