Hello. My first post in forum.

Yesterday iafter some years i decided to flash my receiver and install openpli 6.1

I put in tmp folder cccam and mgcamd files, trying to install them through the openpli menu but nothing. Then i tried via putty to do the install and there was an error that are not supported.

Can we install or not in new version softcams?

If we can do it, why i faced those problems yesterday. Has anyone any idea what i should check?

Thanks in advance.

Are you sure you flashed OpenPLi?

I can't see Octagon among supported receivers:

https://openpli.org/download/

Softcams are installed from feed in genuine PLi images.

ET9000, OpenPLi 4.0, 13E, 19E

HD51, OpenPLi 6.2, 75E - 30W

There is no genuine OpenPLi image for your box. So we cannot help you.

Octagon sf8 = max digital xp1000 so its supported and image is available.

You can download and install softcams from:

Menu>plugins>green button>softcams menu.

Even if the image works, it’s still not supported. And in such cases often not all keys on the remote work...

Yes, and ax hd51 has a different remote than the mutant hd51.
I think we can stop discussion here. He can try that image. If it works, it’s ok. If not, we don’t help. Point.

Vu = galaxy innovations in Russia and Ukrainie

Galaxy Innovations is not made by VU+, they are made by Xcore (the new owner of Xtrend).

Currently in use: VU+ Duo 4K (2xFBC S2), VU+ Solo 4K (1xFBC S2), uClan Usytm 4K Ultimate (S2+T2), Octagon SF8008 (S2+T2), Zgemma H9.2H (S2+T2)
