There is a question. We have ET11000K, openpli-develop, enigma2-plugin-extensions-iptvplayer. When you select a resolution in the plugin above 1080P, the resolution does not change. Does this depend on the gstreamer or on enigma2?On openpli6.1 and openatv not change.

OpenPLi for an et11k? I think there is no official downloadable OpenPLi for an et11k.

Looking at the official download page (https://openpli.org/download/xtrend/) there is no image for an et11k.


2 x ultimo4k (dvb-c fbc + 1 dvb-s2, 8.3r/nb) + een et10k/osmini (geen tuners en dus fallbackclient, nb) met een Synology ds214+ (2 x 6 TB) op DSM 7.1.1 in ziggo oost (voormalig @Home) + A1/A2/A3/HB (TechniSat)

The ET11000 isn't an Xtrend box, it's a GI box (same manufacturer): https://openpli.org/...ad/gi/ET-11000/

@foxbob If you in plugin iptvplayer using exteplayer, then it seems to me that youtube should work at a resolution above 1080p.
If you use gstplayer then I think that the ability to play DASH MP4 streams need to be implemented.
But I do not use iptvplayer and I have not followed changes, so I might be wrong.
It's possible that Samsam has already done something.

Allow dash format: yes

Thanks for the tip there was a choice of resolution, but I did not see above 1080P.Maybe I did not find this video yet.

You really not see 1080p on your screen?

 

So, maybe take a look once again on your screenshot.

Yes but your STB will probably not support video codec with this resolution.

Youtube provide videos with h264 or with VP9 codec. Youtube not provide 4K video with H265 codec supported by your STB.

 

In case of h264 codec max resolution allowed by 4K set-top-boxes (at least these which I know) is 1080p.

What about VP9 and your STB? Please download some 4K example video with this codec and check if it can be played correctly by your STB.

 

If YES, then no problem, I can add possibility to choose this quality in IPTVPlayer.

Hi samsamsam, Thank you for your work. Reading the above just wanted to let you know that all Vu+ 4k Stb modells except Vu+ solo 4k which has Oldest Board Support Vp9 2160p in Vti Image YouTube Tv Plugin.

Vu+ Vp9 Support:

Ultimo 4k yes
Uno 4k yes
Uno 4k Se yes
Zero 4k yes

Solo 4k no

Did you test VP9 2160p  sample video via MediaPlayer? Is it working properly?

Yes, Last VTI Update also supports 4k/Vp9 in ChomiumOS

I asked if was able to play any VP9 video via MediaPlayer not via web browser (cobalt/chromium).

Please download VP9 sample and try to play it from hdd/pendrive. Does it play correctly?

 

If yest, then let me know, so I will enable VP9 in youtube in the IPTVPlayer.
