Hallo !

Danke!

As far I know the rolling text for Mut@nt device is performed in the drivers.... At least for my HD51 it does...

You then need the specific "Renderer" - probably https://github.com/o...rCharLCDLong.py

If RollerCharLCDLong.py does not exist in \usr\lib\enigma2\python\Components\Renderer then the change in your skin_display.xml will not work. But reading a created debuglog would probably show that simply the renderer is missing.

Ad far I know scrolling is arranged in the drivers for the Mut@nt boxes... So this python code is not required at all...

So the only thing to do is to make the linesize longer in the screen of skin_display.xml and the driver makes the scrolling?

Yep as far I know that is all....

Only when the driver does not support the scrolling you need that python renderer as work-a-round...

Danke für eure Hilfe.

Der Renderer hat gefehlt.

Der ist jetzt drin. Meine skin_display.xml angepaßt und es läuft.

Thank you for your help.
The renderer was missing.
He's in there now. My skin_display.xml adjusted and it works.

Thanks
