Hi All,

 

I am trying to have the hdmiCEC work on my WP1. From what I've read, the pluging is preinstaled by deafault in OpenPli image (can't find it when I go to plugins). Also there is no option to manage the plugin (which I gather is normal...).

Recently, when going through "hot keys" setup I have found a command "Activate HDMI-CEC"... I have set that as one of my hot keys, but once presing it the green screen pops up with the following error log (print screen in the attachment)

 

 

 

....any ideas how to make it work?

HDMI-CEC is available in Menu - Setup - System - Audio/Video.

 

To be able to see it, the "Setup mode" must be set to either Advanced or Expert (see Setup - System - Customize, first item).

in case of the OpenPli image for wetek play it is not.

 

I have tried changing the view from Advanced to Expert, back and forward and the HDMICEC options are simply not there (even though the plugin has been installed)

Could be that it is simply not supported. The Wetek Play is a very weird beast, Wetek never managed to create a working BSP for OpenPLi 6 for it...
