I have a enigma2 STB server to stream on LAN to another devices, the problem is that subtitles only works on PC or Android devices, according to the following scheme:
Enigma2 STB -> PC, subtiltes working with VLC
Enigma2 STB -> Android, subtitles working with DreamDroid
Enigma2 STB -> Enigma2STB, subtitles not working
I have installed OpenPLi 6.0 on STB client and converted m3u file to bouquet. The strem works and I can select audio channel but subtitles not work. The service has the follow service reference:
#SERVICE 4097:0:1:29:0:0:0:0:0:0:http%3A//192.168.0.3%3A8001/
I would apreciate any help.
Kind regards.

I don't think gstreamer supports subtitles in transport streams. If the stream is given as "1" type, it will probably work.

No, the complete sintax for the bouquet file is this:
#SERVICE 4097:0:1:3:0:0:0:0:0:0:http%3a//192.168.0.3%3a8001/1%3a0%3a1%3a77C0%3a40A%3a1%3aC00000%3a0%3a0%3a0%3a:LA 1
#DESCRIPTION LA 1
And if a change for:
#SERVICE 1:0:1:3:0:0:0:0:0:0:http%3a//192.168.0.3%3a8001/1%3a0%3a1%3a77C0%3a40A%3a1%3aC00000%3a0%3a0%3a0%3a:LA 1
#DESCRIPTION LA 1
No more work.

Is it an alternatives entry? It is otherwise something special? This should really work.

4097 is processed by gstreamer, 1 by the hardware. See post #2.
Currently in use: VU+ Duo 4K (2xFBC S2), VU+ Solo 4K (1xFBC S2), uClan Usytm 4K Ultimate (S2+T2), Octagon SF8008 (S2+T2), Zgemma H9.2H (S2+T2)

If is is a stream that can be processed by the SoC, yes. If not, you are out of luck (at least until someone implements subtitle support in gStreamer).

But the stream is supposed to come from a DVB service on a remote receiver, so it should be DVB-compliant to start with. Or it's not and, yes, then this can be the result.

There is an easy test to perform:
On your client box, disable the tuners.
Use the same channel list that the one on your server box.
In the client configuration define as remote fallback STB the server that you want.
Now you should be able to zap on the client and it will use the server tuners, test if subtitles are working fine.

Yes!
After Enable fallback remote receiver, add the IP address of the box on the next line Fallback remote receiver URL and using the same chanel list from server STB, now subtitles works
All of you guys, I really thank you.
