Is there any working udb wifi dongle which can pick up wifi in long distance for Zgemma h5.2s plus.
I have a Ralink 5370 usb wifi but i have wifi cuts due to weak signal.
Is there any other usb wifi dongle accept ralink 5370 that can work on kali linux and linux stb receivers?

Hi, I would use an external device with real antennas like the TP-Link TL-WN822N. External because it can be easily positioned and the direction of the antennas can be optimized. For max. range 2.4GHz is also better than 5GHz. I have this device attached to one of my VUs. Sometimes it also helps if you use and USB extension cable to optimize the position of your current stick. I had an example where a stick only had around 20MBit without and almost 200MBit with extension cable. Perhaps you find such a cable in your drawers somewhere to test. ciao

Hi,

on another thought a WiFi bridge would be a better solution because you do not have to care about Linux or STB drivers as they must be connect by a normal network cable to your device. Router often have a bridge mode in case you have a spare one lying around.

ciao

Hi,
look at your favorite shop. A bridge starts below €20 so cheap is relative.

If i buy a TP-LINK TL-WN722N compatible for Linux receivers like Zgemma h5 or any other Stb linux and Kali Linux operating System or should i go for the one you mention here?
