Hello,
I am using openpli, and I cannot find parameters to setup an external hard disk on a vu zero receiver. Can someone help me?

"Just plug it in" would be a good starting point I guess. There's nothing to "setup" and "parameters" isn't going to be something that you need either.

Hi,
your're right, but if you plug it in the automounter (mdev) mount it automatically.

I want usb stick in media/hdd and intern hdd in media/sda1

I use PLI in flash and ATV in multiboot.....ATV has devices manager and I have this usb stick media/hdd and intern hdd in media/sda1

Currently in use: VU+ Duo 4K (2xFBC S2), VU+ Solo 4K (1xFBC S2), uClan Usytm 4K Ultimate (S2+T2), Octagon SF8008 (S2+T2), Zgemma H9.2H (S2+T2)

Is it possible to label the HDDs from the GUI or only from the linux shell?

Vu Zero is a zapper box you need to install PAU on it to grant access to HDD... other images include it by default, for OpenPLi you need to install it from the feed.

Thank you, what is the automounter? mdev?
as the name tells - automounter mount the devices (media) which are you plug in on the box automatically, and the programm for the automounter to do that is mdev
,it works with a script.

Why on earth would you want that?
I use PLI in flash and ATV in multiboot.....ATV has devices manager and I have this usb stick media/hdd and intern hdd in media/sda1
Multiboot causes problems like disks not mounting.

Which probably explains the setup. I have a distinct feeling that labeling will cause other issues...
