hi mrs i have a problem whith my engima 2
using openpli 4
when i acess whith winscp to root
i find media but no folder usb
one day that folder appear for me but i want to add files on it it show that message
u cant write on media/usb/picon
please can u helpe in that point of usb to be writtable i want to add my files and picons on that folder

Plugin a USB storage device?
It will be mounted automatically on /media/usb, unless it has a label, in which case it will be mounted as /media/{LABEL}.

hi brother my friend has golden media spark 7111
he has that root media/usb/ active whithout adding usb he add files and picons on it as seperate disk
i want to do the same
can u explaine more

We don't make software for that box, so I wouldn't know.

What would you exactly like to do without the usb stick?
Storing some things into the integrated flash and not on a usb stick?
Than make a new directory in / and put you things there
/media in openpli is a temp filesystem in RAM and after reboot the content is not there

yes the is the reall idea anudanan storing extra files like picons server-iptv.mu3 ..... in folder usb
that folder even if you dont have usb shoul be writtable and have access to store in it like free space .
if you make new flash room for your reveiver this folder never delete . you still have ur filles on it .
can you understand me .

No, that doesn't work. Even if you would be able to create something in /media. it would still be in flash, and it would still be deleted when you flash. Keeping data only works with external storage.
