Today i tried to load openpli in my new Edision OS Nino ( the standard model ) and every time i got E-23 after boot .

I tried some other images from openatv and satdream-gr and they worked normal .

After a small search i found out that Edision has made a small change and for this you have to inter-grade some new drivers for openpli image to work in  lib/modules/4.8.17/extra

The drivers came from edision gihub

https://github.com/e...driver/releases

can someone add them to the next release ?

thanks in advance .

Due to a request from Edision I performed a test. Whatever I did, this issue occurred not even once.
They mentioned that this only occurred with the new hardware. So there might be small differences between the hardwareversions. The new drivers will be added to the new 6.2 release. I don‘t know if and when they will be added to previous releases like 4, 6.0 and 6.1. This question can be better answered by other members.

When 6.2 is released, 6.1 becomes end-of-life and is no longer supported or updated.

If the updated BSP is still compatible with OpenPLi 4, and can be upgraded, needs to be tested, but as 4 is also end-of-life, we won't update it unless there are severe issues that can't be fixed otherwise.

Currently in use: VU+ Duo 4K (2xFBC S2), VU+ Solo 4K (1xFBC S2), uClan Usytm 4K Ultimate (S2+T2), Octagon SF8008 (S2+T2), Zgemma H9.2H (S2+T2)

Hello,

Today bought this Nino receiver and flashed PLI image.

I get the same error E-23 after first boot.

Please help me to fix it or give me some directions to fix it.

I don't want to use another image.

Appearently the latest shipments from the factory contain new hardware, for which a driver upgrade is needed. This isn't present in OpenPLi 6.1, but will be in OpenPLi 6.2.

Do you have network connectivity, or does it already fail in the bootup? If you can access it via telnet and ftp, you might be able to update the drivers manually.

Download the drivers from https://github.com/e...es/tag/20180312, open it, and use ftp to copy linuxdvb.ko to /lib/modules/4.8.17/extra, overwriting the version that is already there. Then reboot the box.

Everything worked ok following your instructions.

My OS Nino booted on openPLI

Thank you very much!

Same problem at startup E 23. but no network, not telnet.

Is there anyone who knows when the new drivers will be in 6.1 image?
