Over the last few weeks C4HD has not pulling down its programmes for some reason. All over UK channels are fine.

 

Using EPG-Importer with Rytec UK and ABM to pull them together on VuSolo2. I can watch the progs fine just no epg.

 

Any help appreciated.

Is this about Satellite, Cable or some IPTV provider? And what is the service reference of the channel in your list?

 

I have EPG on C4HD on my sat box until the 27th...

Can You check pls. the service ref on your receiver pls.  (see our FAQ's on how to do that)

Probelem is that freesat is no longer providing EPG for Ch4. \

I don't think Rytec EPG is supplied by CH4, and the channel itself hasn't disappeared from the sat.

The schedule for Channel 4 is still in the XMLTV file (The schedule is taken from the BT website for this channel)

 

If you do not have EPG, and import EPG provided by Rytec you have a problem in your receiver.

Pls. compare the service ref in your receiver with the above listed.

I still cannot see why you do not have EPG when importing EPG from Rytec.

 

So I am still guessing. 

But let's try something:

 

Give your receiver a good kick.  Meaning, shut it down.  Remove from power.  Wait 5 minutes.  Restart the receiver and do a manual import.

 

Secondly, can you obtain an EPGimport log.

 

* Where is the epgimport.log

 

Open the EPGimporter.

Press now the Menu button on your remote.

Make the choice to see the log.

Now you see the log.  This log can be saved, and you find the saved fle in /tmp/

 

Maybe I can see something in there (although this is not guaranteed)

You are still using a very old version.

Pls.update EPGimport and EPGimport-rytec.
