Why don't you create a spanish language subforum ?

I'd be good to know how many people know or speak spanish language.

If by "you" you mean "we", we can only do that if we have people that speak the language (so questions get answered) and can moderate. Which currently we don't.

By "you" I mean of course "you" and all Moderators and Core members, which are the only ones who can create and modify forum structure.

Spanish language has 50 million native speakers more than english ones around the world !!!!!

Guess your english isn't the best either?

 

It is not about users. It is about OpenPLi team members that can speak spanish, can monitor and check the conversations, and can moderate if need be. Without that, we will not open a new language forum.

English is not my native language.

Here in Barcelona we have two native languages, Catalan and Spanish.

But I'm sure that you'll have noticed (when reading my posts) for years that I have no problem at all writing in english language.

I've just asked about a spanish subforum because I can help if needed.

I guess concerning the number of spanish speaking people in the world you’re right but Wanwizard is only trying to explain that it is in fact impossible for the present moderators to do their ‘job’ in a spanish section. If there are several spanish speaking volunteers to handle all spanish questions / requests this might be an option. Besides the unknown language we feel that we better spend more time in the actual development then supporting an extra language section although it’s the worlds most used language.
