hi all 

im trying to setup vu zero 4k with open pli 6.2 

when i insert the drive and setup as HDD it works well but when i try and install kodi it installs to flash everytime 

iv tried the same with open pli 6.1 and does the same installs kodi installs to flash

the black hole image installs fine to HDD but i prefer openpli 

is there some special way for me to format the drive so kodi goes onto the hdd instead of the flash

iv tried 4 different hard drives and usb sticks still get the same problem

I don't use Kodi but flash should be amply sufficient. This new box has 4GB RAM and 2GB flash. Perhaps the Kodi installer simply doesn't detect a HDD and reverts to installation on flash. Actually the box had 2 USB port where the bottom one serves as an extension port for the PVR-Kit. Ask the Kodi developers how to change...

yes your right m8 i didn't realise it had that much flash ill just leave it on flash thanks

simlynk..i recomand usb not hdd....sometime i have delay in zapp or channel list with epg import or kodi in hdd

 

usb mount hdd

 

hdd mount sda

 

i dont no but for me work great with skin aeon

 

i have simlynk for emulator...kodi and skin aeon

thanks for the reply ill look into that simlynk as iv read a few posts about creating a simbolick link to the drive from the flash

but it might be a bit much for my head lol
