Several team members have a Unicable or JESS setup, and we all run development code on our boxes. So I'm pretty sure if there was something this seriously wrong, we would know about it.

Currently in use: VU+ Duo 4K (2xFBC S2), VU+ Solo 4K (1xFBC S2), uClan Usytm 4K Pro (S2+T2), Octagon SF8008 (S2+T2), Zgemma H9.2H (S2+T2)

Due to my bad health, I will not be very active at times and may be slow to respond. I will not read the forum or PM on a regular basis.

This might be related to this thread on satellite/dish issues

Can you please move the:  Display EIT now/next in the infobar into the menu that manage all the EPG parameters?
Since EIT EPG now/next is part of EPG informations would be more logical to find this parameter there.

All parameters that control what is shown or not, are in "User interface".
Why move this particular one from there??

Because it is linked with EPG and when you want to turn off the EIT EPG you need to disable it in the EPG menu and also in the User Interface.[...]

So this option is not at all a User Interface parameter but a pure EPG EIT parameter that must be in the global EPG menu (more logical).

Pr2

I get your point, this parameter belongs indeed in the EPG menu. I was misled by it's wording. It should be renamed to "Use EIT for now/next in infobar".

Apart from that, the whole EPG section is wrong placed. It should rather be in "Expert settings" than "GUI settings".

@WanWizard: Could this be done?

Everything can be done. ;)

But I assume it is there for a reason, I don't know who moved it, and why.

Not sure why zgemma thought this is needed, and why @littesat just accepted it...
