Hi Willy,

in post #19 you wrote that you are supporting DubaiOne.ae in the misc section. As it is some time ago: are you still supporting this?

Unfortunately the EPG data is missing, maybe because the schedule URL has changed since you added it. The current schedule can be found here:

http://www.dubaione....e/schedule.html

Thanks if you get the time to take a look at this.

Cheers,

vinyl

DubaiOne is still in the misc file, but unfortunally the grab fails.

Will replace it with the website from above.

Hey Willy,

I had a look at the grab and it is generally working. However, you probably made the same mistake I made when looking at the schedule times.

When you look at the schedule for Sunday it starts at 20:00 GMT / 0:00 UAE. You probably only looked at the GMT times, but actually the UAE times are the ones they use to separate the days. So the first entry for today is from 0:00 UAE on October 18, which is actually 20:00 GMT on October 17. Because of this, the grab is shifted by one day. All events for tomorrow are actually events for today.

As an example, right now (Sunday, October 18 - 17:07 CEST) there is no EPG data in your grab. The correct entry is listed for Monday, October 19 at 15:30 - 17:30 CEST, so the grab shifts all entries on day into the future.

I don't know if it's easy to do this with your grab, but if you could  shift all entries one day into the past, everything should be perfect.

Once again, thanks!

vinyl

Hello,
Great effort.

I have no epg on Travelxp 4k on Hotbird.

Sref: 1_0_1_11FB_2B5C_13E_820000_0_0_0
Sref: 1_0_19_11FB_2B5C_13E_820000_0_0_0

The content of the 4k channels is different than the HD ones (HD versions have already epg).

Thanks bro for the immediate response.
Appreciate it.

May I ask you where the rytec.channels.xml file is saved on my Vu box (BH image)? Or is it downloaded on the fly and then deleted?

Again thanks for the great effort over the years.

The rytec.channels.xml file is downloded on the fly and kept in memory.

It is not saved, except for some intermediate data, which is deleted.

If you want the channels file, look into the rytec.sources file.  You will find there the URL's for the file.  Be aware that some URL's do not allow download with wget.

Another source is the channels file in excel format:

http://epgalfasite.dyndns.tv/rytec.channels.xlsx

Another question please in the same direction:

If I saved the rytec.channels.xml file found on http://rytecepg.dyndns.tv/epg_data/ in the /etc/epgimport folder and made some modifications (e.g. disabling some channels and adding others)

Would epg-importer plugin use my modified rytec.channels.xml files during epg importing or would it use instead the default rytec.channels.xml downloaded on the fly?

You can use your own created channels file.

Place the file as rytec.channels.xml in the /etc/epgimport folder.

Now open the rytec.sources file and delete:

Or place the xml tags <!--  --> around it.

(<!-- before and --> after the mappings

<mappings>
  <channel name="rytec.channels.xml.xz">
   <url>http://www.xmltvepg.nl/rytec.channels.xml.xz</url>
   <url>http://epgspot.com/rytec_epg/rytec.channels.xml.xz</url>
   <url>http://rytecepg.wanwizard.eu/rytec.channels.xml.xz</url>
   <url>http://rytecepg.dyndns.tv/epg_data/rytec.channels.xml.xz</url>
   <url>http://epg.vuplus-community.net/rytec.channels.xml.xz</url>
  </channel>
</mappings>

and change all

channels="rytec.channels.xml.xz"

into

channels="rytec.channels.xml"

Use search and replace to do this.

EPGimport will then use you own channels file.

Be aware that from that moment you are responsible for maintaining this file.

Can you add/change EPG for:

Extreme Sports Channel (same as 1:0:1:4B5C:813:600:FFFF0000:0:0:0:)
1:0:16:11A5:4289:FF00:A0313E:0:0:0:
1:0:16:3B6C:C8D:3:EB0000:0:0:0:
1:0:1:77ED:2C3:600:E080000:0:0:0:

On the last one it looks like two EPG's are mixed of which one is the correct one.
