Interesting that also these 3 channales are OK on my Uno 4K, but no on the new box (also I am trying in a 3nd box and the situation is the same).

 

As if a "partial match" would be enabled in the Uno 4K, but if am not wrong, there is no option like this.

Question: I am doing a setup on a new box (on a Vu Zero 4k vs my old box Uno 4k). I have same settings for EPGImport.

 

It is possible that on my Uno4K these channels are imported correctly, but not on new box:

It looks like new box check for whole service length (not matched) while the old box for first half (and it is matching in this case) of service id? Very weird. Both running 8.1 Openpli and latest EPGImport. Same for this hungarian channel. 

 

I am sure that on my Uno 4K box it is working at this moment correctly, but not on this new box. Or it is need some extra setting somewhere?

 

In any case, please change E082E56 to E080000 in channels.xml.

This not weird.  It is the result of a clever clog, who thinks he has to de-activate the setting:  Ignore the DVB-S namespace sub-network in the divers settings of OpenPli.

DO NOT DEACTIVATE THIS!!!!!!!!

 

The result is these weird looking namespaces.  These are normally not needed.

Only in very special cases they are needed.  And if you need need them, you will know about this.

Or you mean that the E080000 is correct namespace and E08xxxxxx is wrong? In this case why we don’t replace all wrong with E080000. Theoretically on 0.8 every channel has the same namespace, if I am not wrong.

Yes you are correct.

But there are settingslists around which have the E08xxxxx namespaces.  And then I get numerous requests to add these.

In this case it has been the other way around. 

But they date back from before I understood this. 

Otherwise I would have added the normal E080000 namespaces.

At the mometn it is a pain in the behind to find them.

Finally I am home and I checked. On my 1. Uno 4K where at this moment everything is recognized correctly I have setting: 

Ignore DVB-S namespace sub network -> Enabled (green).

2. Zero 4K - I didn't have time to look today

3. DM 800SE - OpenPli 4, same as Zero 4K, some channels missing, because it is not matched properly.

 

My channel list, where first channel M1 HD is not recognized by EPGImport on 2. Zero 4K and 3. DM800SE:

You see what is the problem:

 

on my first box (1. Uno 4K) even the 1:0:1:FC8:D:1:E080000: is matched correctly agains my bouquet 1:0:1:FC8:D:1:E080000:0:0:0:, but not on others. Ok the DM800SE is running pretty old software, but on Zero 4K I have same software as on 4K. Both has fresh install from zero.

 

Not a big problem as soon I will send you the correct service references to repair, I just want to understand why is this happening (and it is hard to correct service references when on my side is working, in other boxes not).

It is possible that it is matched like this in my Uno 4K and Zero 4K? By any case the best solution is to add the full actual service reference.

For Nasa I found Nasa.us in the channels.xml (missing ID above), I don't know if it is the same.

Yes the EPG is available in 2 versions FR and EN, but some are only in EN and others only in FR !!
