In the epgimport folder there is nothing secret.

Could you zip all the files in there and post them pls.

And I mean all the files in /etc/epgimport/

The italian sources have lot of mistakes in channel list. So delete the file italian.sources.xml. Rereun epgimport with clear before scan.

Complain to the makers of dreamset they have to update their files.

 

Get the most recent files by updating enigma2-plugin-extensions-epgimport-rytec from the feed (OpenPLI)

So what i did is i deleted every file on my epgimport and replaced them with the ones @doglover provided, and... It still didn't work. So i thought maybe enable one source at a time, thinking maybe a source overrides another for certain channels, so i did that and enabled France - TNT alone and yea it solved the problem on the ARTE chnannel, so my "conclusion" is there is a conflict between certain sources i still don't know which one yet but i'll keep enabling one source at a time and figure out which it is.

No, the problem persisted after deleting the italian source im still "debugging" i will tell you which one it is once i figure it out.

did you delete epg.dat via telnet and killall -9 enigma2 and restart epgimport process?

One thing to remember is.  The channels files are only downloaded once a day. Or after you restart enigma2.

 

Question:  Did you restart enigma2 before importing?

And tick pls the option delete all epg before importing.

 

If you did not restart enigma2, you are still using the old (wrong) channels file.

OK.  Doing this also restarts enigma2.

I do a full restart everytime i import epg.

Should i just make i clean image install maybe it'll be easier to make sure i do things right this time ?

Trust me i did, that's how my epg import looks like now

PS : on the plugin icon it says mod Dorik1972, is that normal ?

I use OAtv 6.4 on an octagon sf8008 twin

So after searching i realized i'm using a modded version of the plugin even tho on the dreamsat panel it didn't say that it was named plain Epgimport. Can that be the problem ?

Could be.  I do not know.  Do know this mod.

But OpenATV should have OEalliance version of EPGimport in its feed.

So why not using that.
