I've rescanned and erased the previous channels on 19,2, done a rescan on EPG Import but still have the music EPG in C+ Box Office....

do you have any xxxx.channels.xml file in /etc/epgimport/?

 

If yes can you show them to us, pls.

Well things seem to evoluate... I now have a mix in my EPG between the 2 channels, just the same problem that I already had on some channels (told you previously)

 

 

In order 1st one is Box Office, 2 is music, 3 is Box Office, 4 is music, 5 is music, 6 Box Office, 7 music, 8 Box Office etc...

A bunch of IPTV sources.  And IPTV links.

 

The problem is that IPTV channels do not have a service ref.

In order to link EPG to it, you have to assign a link to it.

Next you have to assign EPG to that service ref.

 

All these automatic link creator (jedimaker, xtreamity, echanneliser) are not 100 % succesfull with this.

 

The channels which are wrong or missing you have to correct manually.

 

And frankly I am getting tired solving these problems, which are really the problem of the IPTV providers.

 

In rytec, the channels you mention have the correct service ref for satellite (and cable) and have the correct EPG.

Links to IPTV channels are out of my control.

 

Start with checking the service ref for a channel which is in error in the bouquet file.

Something like this:  #SERVICE 4097:0:1:029e:0751:0:0:0:0:0:http%3a//example.m3u8:|FR| CANAL+ SPORT 360 FHD -->

Of course with the real URL instead of this example.

 

Take this service ref (here 4097:0:1:029e:0751:0:0:0:0:0:) and search for this in the different channels files in etc/epgimport/ (jedimaker and xtreamity here)

See what EPG is linked to it.

Eventually add the channel with the correct EPG.

Or correct the link.

What's the correct channel reference for TCM FR ?

This channel is in France/Wallonie - Commun(xz) but don't know how to reverse from EPG to service ref to correctly display guide.

Checked the TNT file and both these channels have a full EPG.

 

However both service refs did not exist in the channels file.

Added them.
