Via telnet session:
opkg update && opkg upgrade
again and again, till there is no updates anymore
then reboot
when you don't get picture after restart, go to the box by openwebif and then in openwebif turn the on/off switch to on , then restart again

Define "does not work"?
Currently in use: VU+ Duo 4K (2xFBC S2), VU+ Solo 4K (1xFBC S2), uClan Usytm 4K Pro (S2+T2), Octagon SF8008 (S2+T2), Zgemma H9.2H (S2+T2)
Due to my bad health, I will not be very active at times and may be slow to respond. I will not read the forum or PM on a regular basis.

The XP1000 is one of the boxes with ony 128MB flash. So changes are the flash of the box is full.
As OpenPLi needs about 95 of those, and opkg downloads and stores all ipk's when you update, it's better to flash the box than update it, when you have more than say 100 packages to update.
I flashed mine with 6.2-release yesterday morning, and it works fine, without any problems.
