Was ist "requests"?

<------>from twisted.internet._sslverify import ClientTLSOptions

SNI/TLS/SSL is only working properly with 14 and above.
Twisted 13 is way too old. ;)

Gründe für 13 gibt's sicher keine. Selbst Dream ist schon lange bei 14 ;)

Maybe when we change to rocko we have a newer version without additional effort...And then also the change/fix is done where it really belongs...

Rocko has 17.9.0, which will solve the problem. But that is not for a few months.

That was exactly the answer I was waiting for. You just don't care about your users problems even if there is a solution for years now ;)
One of the reasons why I don't support your image...

@Kermit00

Eh... You make something that is only compatible with a manual hotfix in OE-A, instead of relying on standard OE versions, and then you blame us?

Wake up buddy!

When the OE-A community really cares about users and especially the oe community they did arrange that this change was pushed as merge request to oe instead of creating and holding their own fork from oe.... But it seems this polite task will never happen....

I am tired in creating not accepted pull-requests - being it here or anywhere else.

So as always the finger pointing does not help - no one...

At least we are flexible enough to adapt and do not have to wait ages for upstream fixes.

This has nothing to do with OE-A.

This is a developer that doesn't make his product compatible with available platforms, but expects the platforms to adapt to his demands. And then dares to blame the platform maker. Like making alloy car wheels with 6 holes, and then blame all manufacturers for not adapting the wheel hubs of their cars. Rediculous.

The only thing that we are responsible for, and one can complain about, is that we're (to) slow in migrating to a newer upstream OE (6.2-release is still Morty, while Sumo is already out).

This is a developer that doesn't make his product compatible with available platforms, but expects the platforms to adapt to his demands.

Again I don't care about your image and it's not my job to fix it. I can't even fix it as it is depending on up-to-date Python Twisted and Openssl libraries. Nor can I make it compatible. And it's not my demand it's YOUR users demand!

Thx @ arn354 for understanding the real problem ;)
