Haha, I'm years ahead it seems!

None of these converters are intented for the new bitrate plugin. The bitrate2.py is designed for the old bitratecalc.so architecture known to cause a ton of issues.

Plus it's not working on TS streams and streaming in general.

 

The bitrate plugin works flawlessly with everything (as long as the drivers support it) but limits skinners. What is needed to be done is someone with coding abilities isolate the values and make them individual for skinners to use everywhere they want!

 

Anyway that's not the issue here, just a simple mention.

So, does the new bitrate finally work on zero4k after all?

No it does not since the tuner bug still has not been fixed (if even possible) by VU+.This only concerns the DVB-S2X tuner. The DVB-C/T2 version of the VU+Zero4K works fine with any compatible BitRateViewer..
