When i record a program and play it back using subtitles the subtitles disappear after 5 seconds when pausing, when i play it back in vlc player on the pc it does not disappear whilst pressing pause. I need to pause subtitles so they stay on the screen, must be something i can change somewhere . pls help

Turn them off and on again and they should reappear.

Or you can jump backwards or forwards a bit.

I have been using forward and back but it gets frustrating after a while.

I have tried another image and the subtitles do not disappear when being played back, i have been using openpli for years and years, i dont like any other image so i hope the software writer can change this ??? This is very handy for peolpe like myself who like to learn other languages without using the Teletext.option

Thank you

With e2 they indeed keep the original timeout... but when you continue the video the next subtitle should appear again... as far I know this happens with all images using e2
