Bad reason B.T.W..... Actually it is bad in the first place when SKINs need additional python code. When a renderer is 'missing' for some feature I think this should be added in the image -so- all skins can profit from one and the same general 'source'... But that's my meaning...
A SKIN should be a SKIN and that means no code added and/or required...

Not every image accepts every render, and that includes OpenPLi. You should know that... 
Currently in use: VU+ Duo 4K (2xFBC S2), VU+ Solo 4K (1xFBC S2), uClan Usytm 4K Ultimate (S2+T2), Octagon SF8008 (S2+T2), Zgemma H9.2H (S2+T2)
Due to my bad health, I will not be very active at times and may be slow to respond. I will not read the forum or PM on a regular basis.

Sorry, but i was in holidays and could not participate on the discussion.
Today I will try the image Openpli 6.2 and install MyMetrixHD Skin, maybe it works like on the "pgmpli" solose.

there are many mods of the Metrix skin, this one still works on OpenPLi
Indeed this one works, but the skin has only latin fonts(?) Any "fix" for this?
Replacing and changing name for "Raleway-Regular" didn't help at all
