Suddenly my VU+ Solo 4K has no picture on an original CD-card with OSCAM. Other people with problems?

VU+ Ultimo 4K, 19.2, 13, 4.8 E via switch on input/tuner 1. 1W. Inverto Unicable II LNB IDLU-32UL40 on input/tuner 2. OpenPLi 8.3

As I don’t owe this card it is hard to give a proper advice. If it worked before without having changed anything to the setup of Oscam it’s odd that it stopped working. In the logging of Oscam you might find some information why the card doesn’t work. Put the card in another reader, clean the surface of the card, etc. etc.
Mijn schotel is een T90 met 10 LNB's. Daarnaast voor de fun nog een draaibaar systeem met een Triax TD 78.
Dreamboxen heb ik niet meer echt actief. Verder heb ik ook nog een een VU+ duo2 met 500Gb harddisk + een VU+ Uno, Zero, Solo 4K, Ultimo 4K, Zero 4K, Uno 4Kse. + ook nog een Xtrend ET7x00. Daarnaast heb ik ook nog diverse andere modellen w.o. een Formuler F4, ET8500, ET7500, Mut@nt 2400HD, Xsarius Fusion HD se en verder nog wel het e.e.a. waarmee op verzoek vanalles wordt getest. Iemand moet het tenslotte doen. 
Los van de eerder genoemde modellen heb ik nog wel een rits aan testsamples als Mut@nt 2400HD, HD60, GB UE4K, GB Trio4K, Maxitec Multibox combo en Twin, Octagon sf8008, sf8008 mini en last but nog least enkele modellen van het Grieks Duitse Edision.
Voor centrale opslag van media gebruik ik een Qnap 219P met tweemaal 2 Tb harddisks + een Synology DS414 met 12 Tb Totale opslag.

If it's using a RELEASE image, the oscam package hasn't changed for a while.
* Wavefrontier T90 with 28E/23E/19E/13E via SCR switches 2 x 2 x 6 user bands
I don't read PM -> if you have something to ask or to report, do it in the forum so others can benefit. I don't take freelance jobs.
Ik lees geen PM -> als je iets te vragen of te melden hebt, doe het op het forum, zodat anderen er ook wat aan hebben.

It can happens that the provider activate another protection mechanism so indeed streamboard is the best place to discuss about it.

I don't know what it was. I restarted OSCAM, I restarted Enigma, I tried this and I tried that, without luck. But, it was back after a while...

Some cards have a protection mechanism when they detect card sharing they stop sending answers for a while, then restart sending answers. But a counter is set that card sharing was detected, when this counter reach a certain value (for exemple 3) the card will totally stop to respond and will needed to be sent back to your provider and they will analyse the card content. If the card is blocked due to card sharing you will not get a replacement card.

Is there any proof of this? We know that M7 smartcards have a 'penalty mode'. Once active, the card sends bogus CW's which results in no picture. We also know by experience that the 'penalty mode' cool-down period gets longer and longer as the SID limit is violated. I have never heard of a distroyed card as a result of this. I strongly doubt if M7 is capable of checking the card's usage.
Since M7 uses tunned Seca on a Nagra card, it may wel be that this 'penalty mode' is a Nagra feature though. It is also known that Nagra cards can't cope with overclocking or massive ECM requests. Fried cards may be a consequence of this...

What I mention is true for sure on Viaccess card and as you describe there is something similar for the Seca/Nagra cards.
