first of all you need the smargo get working, you´ll need kernel modules, as the word itself says they are kernel (box) dependent

kernel-module-ftdi-sio

kernel-module-usbserial

kernel-module-pl2303

may be not all of them, I forgot which ones, try trial and error method, oscam-modern supports smargo, in which way I don´t know, straight away or with kernel modules?

Normally, installing the ftdi-sio will do the trick. Install by opening 'Applications' or 'Plugins'. Press the green button for "download". A list opens. Go to submenu 'drivers' and scroll to ftdi-sio. Press OK to install.
For neatness reboot your box to ensure complete driver loading.
Now your system has an extra reader addressed as /dev/ttyUSB
Rest can be googled..

I think this driver is already loaded in OpenPli. When you open "Applications" or "Plugins" and press "Red" instead of green. Check in submenu "drivers" if the driver is already loaded.. Fat chance it is....

Yes.. So you can continue to edit CCcam.cfg to match your card.
Which Smargo are you using?
Original v1 (blue), v2 (grey) or triple reader?

I don't have such a card. You should look into forums in your country how to set up. Are you sure the card is the right way in (check the green LED on the Smargo)..,
