I can record IPTV channels with my Ultimo 4K but sometimes the Vu+ stops and doesn't record all the video.

convert your link to m3u, put it in the box and open it with iptv player- media, change from play to record as an option. it records perfectly.

Can you explain please ? The link is something like : http://....ts ? And how convert it ? Can we take the player which is installed by the provider or is it another player ?

I can use EPG timer and then it can record IPTV without a problem, but in the same time you can't watch any other IPTV channel ( that is reasonable) or watch any recorded channel while recording (That is biggest obstacle to me, while recording I can't even watch something I've recorded on SAT TV. )

If I could solve this it would be great.

There was suggestion that I need to change stream reference from 4097 to 1 for example:

#SERVICE 1:0  ...

instead

#SERVICE 4097:0  ...

But no luck, still the same.

Actually recoding iptv makes no sense... instead you could try to download/grab it...

But nevertheless while recording an IPTV channel you should be able to watch a recording.

not only that , it messed up playback, like two simultaneous videos are meshed up in one, sometimes distorted video. It is like you are playing two different video in the same time.

Which box?
And you only use IPTV via channel list and no plugin?

Usually recoding of iptv means download + play at once, so you have two streams at once. It is likely that (illegal) iptv providers do block that functionality. So nothing to do about this...

Yes, if it is limited to one download it might be illegal.
But still watching a sat recording doesn’t stop recording of other service.

I can record and watch other channel at the same time (iptv) without any problem. Must be problem with your provider. Is it legal?

I simply don't understand what means blocked watching recording free FTA satellite channel like ARD from Astra with vu+ duo recorded ?  It has no sense at all.

To be sure it’s a local disk where the recording is stored? And this is a normal disk and no slow usb stick?

Formatted Linux style...?

Of course , this is not my 1st enigma2 box, I had them for years, always with HDD, always with internal HDD.

I can record and watch everything fine, without a hitch, 2 tuners, etc.. Only problem is with IPTV recording.
