The new description is not correct it not just copy the the remote channels and EPG it also delete all the existing files!

My suggestion is then if it cannot be improved:

- Return back to the previous Fallback tuner implementation which was working fine with no border effect.

- Create this new Remote Tuner into a plugin so people that don't need it, don't have it on there box since this feature is "dangerous" to use and they will know why they install it. I was anyway surprised to see such feature build in OpenPLi rather than having it has a plugin. I am loving OpenPLi because it doesn't install lots of useless features.

Changing the #SERVICE from 1 to 4097 doesn't requires any change in the lamedb.

Still not decided to rename the userbouquet during transfer?

@ims,

I know that #SERVICE 1:  is working fine but for IPTV the right service to use is #SERVICE 4097 since #4097 is for IP stream and 1 for DVB.

And it is working even better especially if you install ServiceApp and define it to use exteplayer3.

You just can disable the import feature when you don’t like it... then everything is the same as it was... or use indeed remotestreamconverter... for most users this new feature is much more easier. For what it is designed you even need not server settings on a client box... it streams also as ts... better than gstreamer or something else...

And I forgot to mention when switching from #SERVICE 1: to #SERVICE 4097: to replace the last :0 to :3 to enable buffering and progressive download...

....or use indeed remotestreamconverter... .

The remotestreamconverter lacks the EPG import. If it had that, all would be perfect for my simple setup.

But why will I install next stuff, if it works well ? This feature is not for IPTV. It is for streaming between local boxes without tuner. And good side effect for me is copy all bouquets between home boxes ... => I can edit bouquets on one box only and then I can all copy easy to next 6 boxes...

If you want change numbers and buffering - write plugin which will easy do it from any bouquet.

Please can you please consider this:

https://devtools.ope....org/issues/377

There is a plugin in the feed to send Wake-On-LAN (WOL) packets on the network, but on the OpenPLi setup screen we have no graphical way to enable it on the network interface.

With the remote fallback server feature this make real sense to have this "enable Wake-On-LAN" option available on the network screen, so we can enable the remote server to go into deep standby and have the client being able to wake it up when needed.
And then this also make sense to integrate the Wake-on-Lan option into the network screen to easily being able to configure it, or send wake-up packet from OpenPLi.

The lack of a decent WoL is indeed the reason my server is never down.

That's the idea, yea....

After all that's what the WoL-command does.....

I think Littlesat means that booting a server or NAS takes a "long" time.

Depends on the box.

But using WoL is so much faster then stepping out of your bed, putting on your gown, going downstairs, switch on the server-box, going upstairs and lay-down in your bed again.

At least at my age.......

By the way, do I understand this FALLBACK feature correctly?

If I have a second receiver at home, which does not have access to satellite cabling but has access to my network (either Ethernet or Wi-Fi), can I use this feature to watch satellite channel using computer network just like streaming using OpenWebif?
