The channel ID of TF1 Series Films on 5.0W has changed.

It's 1:0:19:BB8:4E84:55F:DDE0000:0:0:0: instead of 1:0:1:BB8:4E84:55F:DDE0000:0:0:0:

So can you change the channel ID of this channel in rytec.channels.xml?

This does not matter.  EPGimport ignores this value.

A lot of providers are not consistent with this value.  So we decided to ignore it to avoid constant edits of the file.

I have the same problem with TG4.ie. Its channel ID has changed and it's 1:0:19:450:3E9:2174:EEEE0000:0:0:0 instead of 1:0:16:450:3E9:2174:EEEE0000:0:0:0

Damn.

VTI is probably using an older version of epgimport.  One which does not have the modification to ignore the servicetype.  (1, 16, 19)

 

Will change these 2 channels.  This has no consequence for openpli and other users.

 

You can see why I requested the change in the import module.

If you installed epgimport from the feed of VTI, updating this plug-in will not help.  They probably use an older version.

 

If your VTI image is older than  years, you may try updating the image itself to a more recent version.
In that feed hopefully there is a more recent version of epgimport too.

I have the latest version of VTI but epgimport from the feed of VTI is very old (20171106). I was able to install EPGImport-mod-dorik1972 1.9.1. This version of EPGImport is very recent.

 

By the way the EPG for BBC2NorthernIreland.uk doesn't work anymore for 2 channels.

 

Can you update these 2 lines:

You did not miss anything. There is no cable.source.xml file.

 

The cable and sat files are a selection of the main file.

The sat channels file containing the sat refs.

The cable channels file containing the cable refs.

 

IPTV  and DVB-T are left out.

 

I did not provide anything the use these files, as I was struggling on how to make this universal.

But the use is easy:

 

In the rytec.sources.xml file replace the mappings section with this:

As you can see change only the channels= entry.

Do this which each source which you wanted imported with that particular set of channels file.

Nobody can decrypt virgin anymore.  There are a few channels on 28.2 that can be opened by methods we cannot discuss. If someone has IPTV, then they will enable everything.

2. The rytec.sources.xml file is changed.  The UK now has only 3 files;

 

UK/Ireland - FreeSat/FTA

UK/Ireland - Sky

UK/Ireland - Sports/Movies

 

The file names are the same as in the old version.  So no need to update in a hurry.

But n the old version there are now 3 files with no content.

Open the desired file, and click on RAW.  You can save the file then with the file menu of your browser.

 

3. As you see there are now also cable and sat sources.

The cable version, will only import EPG for cable channels.  The sat version only for sat channels.

DVB-T and legal IPTV channels are in both versions.

 

Important:  Only use 1 of these sources in your receiver
