We don't include CrossEPG in our feed, as there is no need to.

Currently in use: VU+ Duo 4K (2xFBC S2), VU+ Solo 4K (1xFBC S2), uClan Usytm 4K Pro (S2+T2), Octagon SF8008 (S2+T2), Zgemma H9.2H (S2+T2)

????
So how do you get up-to-date Open-TV EPG? As that reader is not embedded in PLi, the only way is to use Cross.
Of course, one can use Rytec, but that only supplies a daily 'snapshot', not adjusting for late changes ('breaking' events).

i don't.

And as long as CrossEPG doesn't decently compile, we can't include it either. If that is addressed, I don't see why we couldn't add it to the feeds.

Also, it doesn't seem like it is being maintained anymore, last chance was over a year ago...

It compiles fine.

You are right, the one you used to build from is not maintained. Pull requests from many years ago. Delete it.

That is the problem with people forking community code and then not contributing back.

It compiles fine.

In OE-A maybe.

I get:

| ERROR: oe_runmake failed
| src/common/net/http.c:8:23: fatal error: curl/curl.h: No such file or directory
| #include <curl/curl.h>
| ^
| compilation terminated.
| Makefile:76: recipe for target 'src/common/net/http.o' failed
| make: *** [src/common/net/http.o] Error 1

And indeed, curl.h is not provided, so it still doesn't compile.

Already looking into it. ;)

That fixed it, next one:

| src/common/crossepg_wrap.c:150:21: fatal error: Python.h: No such file or directory
| # include <Python.h>
| ^
| compilation terminated.
| Makefile:72: recipe for target 'src/common/crossepg_wrap.o' failed
| make: *** [src/common/crossepg_wrap.o] Error 1

and now I get to real compile errors, which I don't have an intention of fixing:

| ERROR: oe_runmake failed
| src/common/crossepg_defragmenter.c: In function 'exec_defrag':
| src/common/crossepg_defragmenter.c:93:9: warning: implicit declaration of function 'dbmerge_fromfile' [-Wimplicit-function-declaration]

This is a parallel build issue, the tasks aren't properly sequenced. Next one up is a libxml issue...

Managed to fix everything and remove some workarounds from the recipe. PR has been send to OE-A, once merged I can add the recipe to the build.

Thanks. Just pushed the new recipe to develop, to late for tonights build. If it builds fine tomorrow I can look at downporting.

Yes, your side.

These need merging

https://github.com/E...rossEPG/pull/18

https://github.com/E...rossEPG/pull/27

This needs closing, it has been done already

https://github.com/E...rossEPG/pull/35

This ought to be closed and redone.

https://github.com/E...rossEPG/pull/46

It is a fix by Viebrix for a typo

if (current_starttime>=current_title)

it should be

if (current_starttime>=current_time)
