Hello!

Using Receiver: XTREND 9200, Dish: Selfsat H50D4, SW: OpenPLI 6.2 2018-09-17.

Experiencing troubles viewing programmes on vertical beams. When viewing=interrupting and when recording=halts. All Horizontal are OK.

When viewing in info-mode can see that signal strength fluctuates (pulsates) btw 0 and 93%.

Noticed after upgrading 6.0 to 6.2

Have two receivers on same dish; other receiver works fine always and have swopped connectors too.

A question to seasoned users: Do you think this this an RX HW or SW error?

What shall I look for?

Appreciate any assistance!

Thanks

Boo

Hi,

You need to adjust the conter-polarization of your LNB.

Slightly turn your LNB clockwise or the oposite to adjust it.

Thanks Pr2.

Appreciate your quick and pin-pointed suggestion.

Fine-tuned the skew and it did the trick. (Only +0,5-1,0°!)

Skew was set according a location based table, amazing that this little change could do the trick.

Signal strength is now different: 93% on H and 87% on V-beams.

Shall I strive to have them equal?

(Right now feel that "if it aint broke don't fix it")

Just waiting for some rain and heavy clouds to check this case off!

Have a good day!

Hi,

Your signal is already very good, don't touch anything. :-)
