One of our download sites is Vuplus-community.net

Suddenly it disappeared.  I did not receive any warnings. about it.

Does somebody know what happened?

If users want to restore access to the VUplus-community download site, add the following line to your hosts file

Windows in C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc\hosts

on linux (inclusive enigma2 receivers) : /etc/hosts

with:

209.236.115.84  www.vuplus-community.net

Deleted this site from /etc/epgimport/rytec.sources.xml.

Does this gives troubles to EPGImport? Normally it should not...

No. I am dead against exposing boxes on the internet, and if you only want torrents from the existing servers, you haven't improved anything, you just made a very complex setup to do exactly the same (including the same problems with a server is down).

EPGImport doesn't care if a server is unavailable, it will just pick the next one.

The EPGimport  was not a real problem.  It just skipped that site.

Vuplus-community has some DNS problems.  And due to that I could not update the server.  Also downloads failed from this server, but EPGimport just takes another server automatically.

So no problem.

The server is not off-line.  It just cannot be reached.  The DNS routed everything to another server.

There is a workaround which I posted above.

PS:  Last night my own interent connection was off-line.  I just got it back at 10h00 this morning.

The update of last night might not be an update at all.  Just yesterday's files..

A new update (grab) is running at the moment.

Solved for now, your workaround did the trick.

Note: Reboot necessary after changing the hosts file (Enigma2).

Also the Wos website is playing up (Again).

At least the schedule for Rete4 is exactly as published on the webpages.

I don't get epg from AFN. Is working?

And Sky Italia has still epg from yesterday.

Checked the AFN source and there seems nothing wrong with it.

It is current on all the servers.

For instance, the last show for AFNMovie is

PS: The importer rejects the vuplus website.  I checked the LastUpdate.txt file and it contains the correct date.  So I do not why it is rejected.

Edit:  I know now why it is rejected.  The receiver on which I did this, does not have the correct IP address in the hosts file for vuplus.  (see the third post in this thread.)
