Pip on disply works... normal tv on display is changed by the latest vu drivers.... (since Pip on display was introduced)

It does work, but maybe otherwise than you expect. You can select the output of the second video decoder (blue key + blue key) to show as PiP (Picture-in-Picture) or to show on the LCD. Press long on the "TV" button to toggle where to display.

Previously the normal tv on lcd works but the wierd thing is that it does not work anymore since the pip on lcd feature was added... while the required procs are still there but they are not responsive...

For solo4k LCD display show live tv.
But there is one, the screen is very dark in color, already about a year.
Previously, everything was ok.

Over here it's fine. You may need to increase the backlight brightness. It goes up to 300, maybe that was less in the past.
