Hi!

I'm trying to install some packages but i'm having the following error:

USER@et4x00:~# opkg install enigma2-plugin-softcams-mgcamdolssl
Collected errors:
 * opkg_prepare_url_for_install: Couldn't find anything to satisfy 'enigma2-plugin-softcams-mgcamdolssl'.

I have the same problem using the plugins menu.

This problem is happening in the latest release 6.1 and 6.2 of openpli.

Can someone point me the right direction to solve this issue?

How I can download manually the package enigma2-plugin-softcams-mgcamdolssl??

Regards,

No clue what you are trying to do here, you download softcams from the plugin screen, using the green button. If it is not there, we don't have it.

Currently in use: VU+ Duo 4K (2xFBC S2), VU+ Solo 4K (1xFBC S2), uClan Usytm 4K Pro (S2+T2), Octagon SF8008 (S2+T2), Zgemma H9.2H (S2+T2)

Due to my bad health, I will not be very active at times and may be slow to respond. I will not read the forum or PM on a regular basis.

When I try to download the plugin using the plugin screen I have the same behavior, and the same result. :(

I see. Looks like the 3rdparty feed is broken, I'll have a look later today.

Rebuilding the package index seems to have helped:

root@viper2tc:~# opkg list | grep mgcamd
enigma2-plugin-softcams-mgcamd - 1.38c-ssl1.0 - mgcamd 1.38c softcam
enigma2-plugin-softcams-mgcamdold - 1.35a-r6 - mgcamdold 1.35a softcam
enigma2-plugin-softcams-mgcamdoldssl - 1.35a - mgcamdoldssl 1.35a softcam

Currently in use: VU+ Duo 4K (2xFBC S2), VU+ Solo 4K (1xFBC S2), uClan Usytm 4K Pro (S2+T2), Octagon SF8008 (S2+T2), Zgemma H9.2H (S2+T2)

You don't, the package index is on the server, and is downloaded by the box when you do an "opkg update". It is then stored in /var/lib/opkg/lists/openpli-3rd-party. This file is used by the Plugin screen to display the available plugins.

You are doing this all on the et4000 you mentioned in your first post, and not on a box with an ARM processor? Because for those none of the old cams are available.

No clue what you are doing.

As I showed in post #5, they are available on all MIPS boxes. Not on the H7, that has an ARM CPU. mgcamd is a relic, not available for modern CPU's.

There is no ARM binary of mgcamd in the feeds.
