It looks like I should flash without autobackup if I want to perform a successful online update?

And then I should not have a Satdreamgr in another slot?

I wonder if there is a way to repair it without flashing?

The issue is not with the slots ...multiboot images do not impact each other.
But if for example they are OpenPli based images (real or clones) and use the same backup settings application then you can have issues.... with some images you can change the name of the settings backup(menu option), which helps to isolate the images.

OK, I understand the conflict is on my HDD where backup files are located.

Now it is probably too late to repair it because the issue has already surfaced and seems it prevents successful update.

I am guessing but should be fixable by  an OpenPli expert - its certainly a better position than someone recently who used another receivers settings backup on a multiboot receiver - and even they managed (apparently) to recover, although not  a recommended procedure!

There  is no way to determine the source of a backup.

If you have a multiboot system with different images, you have to make sure you keep the backups apart (chances are all 4 images backup in the same location, creating a right mess) and restore the correct backup (by doing it manually after a flash).

Currently in use: VU+ Duo 4K (2xFBC S2), VU+ Solo 4K (1xFBC S2), uClan Usytm 4K Pro (S2+T2), Octagon SF8008 (S2+T2), Zgemma H9.2H (S2+T2)

Due to my bad health, I will not be very active at times and may be slow to respond. I will not read the forum or PM on a regular basis.

Ok, I will have more time during Christmas so I will probably clear all slots in HD51 by flashing OpenPLi. After that I will flash SatdreamGr (based on OpenPLi) in one of the other slots.

Now, what should I do before flashing SatdreamGr so that the backups on HDD do not get mixed?

Thanks.
