What DVB driver are you referring to? OpenPli doesn't include any external DVB driver by default in its image. If you try to connect an usb DVB tuner you then need to know which driver to install from the feed, starting playing around with driver found elsewhere is certainly a bad idea.
About VU.
http://archive.vuplu...wnload/drivers/
Use the latest image if you want.
Find earlier driver in the list for your receiver.
Extract and replace the files in root/lib/module/.#.#.#/extra/...
and restart complete.
I just followed the instructions given by Jork, and I have tried all the DVB drivers in version 3.13.5

Why are you trying to change the DVB driver? Just use OpenPLi image with the provided drivers and your VU+ tuners will work.

In case of those DVB Drivers , i have on Vu Duo 2 as two dual dvb-s2 tuners which means 4 tuners A/B/C/D as configurations A/B for motorized dish and C/D for fixed dish. But since 6.2 image in main menu>information>about , show only :detected nims as Tuner A-B , no info about C/D !!!!! which i think may couse that there is no info in Full HD skin about current motorized antenna position.Previously was above resolutions/tuners info on right side.

Because of frequent crashes with Vu+ frozen and spinner working hard!

Crash generates crash log on the HDD post them here and we will see, it is probably one of the plugin you use or the skin that you use that generates those crashes.

Ok, thanks, here under the last log I found. Strange because the date is not yesterday, as I have had one yesterday too...
Hope this helps and that you may find something to solve it, because I really like OP.

I think you will have a driver crash that doesn´t leave a crashlog from enigma.
You can make the following.
If you have a the next crash, please goto the linux command line with telnet/shh and give the command
dmesg
I think there you will see a driver crash messages at the end of dmesg output but enigma doesn´t write a crashlog because enigma has no crashes at that time.
Sometimes I have that situation with my uno4kse and openpli 6.1 but not so often. The last one was about 16 days ago in the past

[et8000] 7.0-FC 8-12-18
I have a minor issue that seems to be carried over from 6.2
When flashing new image with autobackup. It allways forgets that my USB tuner is Terestrial and has it listed in the tuner config as cable.
It remembers that I'm using Chrystal Palace transmiter.
Other than that all is working fine so far. The USB tuner drivers and firmware (Astrometa-DVB-T2-C-DAB) gets installed perfect. I only need an additional rebbot to initiate my Engma2-prestart script.
Keep up the geat work.
Thanks Colin

Today, as enough crashes in the day, without telnet check for the log, installed version 7.
Update done fast and efficiently, nothing lost, all the settings back automatically in the install process.
Good job, congrats to the team.
And I will see what happens. If i can eliminate this crashes, I will have, for me, the perfect sat receiver and perfect OS.

What does
cat /etc/enigma2/settings | grep multiType
tell you, in a working situation, and after a flash + restore?
I just tried with an Amiko box with internal C/T tuner, and with that it is not a problem, it remembers both the type and the transmitter. So it may be related with the fact it is a USB tuner?

That seems correct for DVB-T to me. Is that now, or directly after a flash + restore?

This after I have manually change it to DVB-T2
As per my original post. It defaults to cable.
It is possibly worth mentioning that the USB-Astrometa-DVB-T2-C-DAB has 2 switchable front ends. This is not an isuue on windows PC'c which was the intended use of the USb tuner.
@Athoik made a small enigma prestart script
enigma2_pre_start.txt 245bytes 12 downloads change txt to sh
which swaps frontends to support DVB-T2

Ok, so that probably means Enigma detects the stick as DVB-C, and changes the config.
Question is, after a restore and autoinstall, afaik Enigma is restarted, that should also run your script (assuming it is in your backup and restored as well)?

With script disabled
openpli 7.0-rc et8000
et8000 login: root
root@et8000:~# cat /etc/enigma2/settings | grep multiType
config.Nims.2.multiType=1
root@et8000:~#
Script switched off.jpg 123.47KB 6 downloads
Only non DVB-T2 programs available.
This is not a big issue for me, just I don't understand why settings backup is ignore the working settings on my box
PS Script is in the autobackup and gets installed. But because its pre Engma2 it needs a reboot to start.

The script is called by enigma2.sh, so before enigma starts. Which means a reboot isn't needed, an Enigma restart should do the trick too.
I don't think the problem is your settings not being restored, I think the problem is that when Enigma starts, the frontend doesn't report DVB-T support, so enigma changes the restored value to what it does support, which is DVB-C.
Since restoring a config after a flash does a restart of enigma, one to do the the restore of the backup, and one after the autotinstall (afaik). So after the restore restores your script, it should be called, and a restart should not be needed. So if this doesn't happen, this is causing your problem and we need to figure out why.
