You can set this under "Behavior when a movie is started" option

(and you can always reset the playback position manually, for individual movie)

Do the openPLi Team have a  timeframe to publish a 7.0 stable version in future?

We usually have, but due to unforeseen curcumstances the release is being posponed time and time again.

1. For instance an incorrect change in a random BSP which influences several builds.
2. One specific manufacturer requests to add / change some specific details which has negative consequences for more then one model.
3. A request to add a new model prior to the release.

Just some reasons why a planned release is being delayed.

@All Translators,

I have updated all the po files from the "rc" branch, the one used to build OpenPLi 7.0 (RC).

https://github.com/O...gma2/tree/rc/po

Can you please follow this link and check your respective po files?

Then propose your updated po files towards this 'rc' branch.

If you want to have OpenPLi 7.0 fully translated in the language you manage, you need to check and submit translation to this 'rc' branch.

Thanks for your help,

Pr2

Hi,

I have just started a quick wiki page to help Translators that are willing to help us with translation.

https://wiki.openpli...for_Translators

The wiki is pointing to the develop branch but if you want your translation to be already included in the future OpenPLi 7 please use this link to pick up the latest .po file.

IIRC it's available in recordings setup (menu > setup > system > record)

(btw. we should probably consider adding these configs for behavior when movie playback is started / is manually stopped to Movielist context menu too...)

The one from VU+?

And what plugin are you talking about? I don't know of a plugin that would prompt for language and country?

Problem seems to be:

Missing element: VP8 decoder
WARNING: from element /GstPlayBin:playbin0/GstURIDecodeBin:uridecodebin0: No decoder available for type 'video/x-vp8, width=(int)540, height=(int)360, framerate=(fraction)24000/1001'.

looking into it.

Looks like VP8 (and in many cases also VP9) is not supported in the BSP, so we need to kick some manufacturers...

As a test, I've enabled vp8 for my VU+ Duo 4K, and build a new image. My test webm file plays, audio only, no video. At least it shows that it support the webm container just fine, otherwise the audio wouldn't play.

So it doesn't seem to be that easy, there more variables than "the hardware must support it" and "gstreamer must support it". Also, playing it from the commandline with gst-launch doesn't give any error, which isn't very helpful.
