Hello, After yesterday's update, VU + Solo2 does not send an EPG stream over the network to the E2Stream program. In the first version 7.0 of November 12, 2018 everything works fine.

Nothing has changed to the code in between the two RC builds.

Currently in use: VU+ Duo 4K (2xFBC S2), VU+ Solo 4K (1xFBC S2), uClan Usytm 4K Pro (S2+T2), Octagon SF8008 (S2+T2), Zgemma H9.2H (S2+T2)

Due to my bad health, I will not be very active at times and may be slow to respond. I will not read the forum or PM on a regular basis.

So why is the EPG missing from the network after the update, and going back to 2018.11.12, everything works?

Check on the OpenWebif side, your application probably uses OpenWebif to grab the EPG.

https://github.com/E...7a6bd700e427888

Contact the E2Stream author to adapt its code.

Ask E2Stream developper to adapt its code to the changes done in OpenWebif, this is not an OpenPLi bug.

E2Stream is an application that streams from VU + and other tuners from E2 to Samsung TV. Here is the link http://www.pembo.co.uk/e2stream/

On OpenPLi 7.0 of 12/11/2018 everything is ok but after updating 121 packages from 16/11/2018 all programs work well but EPG is missing.

Just check an indeed this application last update date back to v6.3 – 22/03/2015, so no more maintenance on it since more than 3 years.
The application seems to be open source:

https://github.com/dpembo/e2stream

So you can adapt it to fix your issue.

Or report the issue there:

https://github.com/d...e2stream/issues

I just check and if I understand it right the change done in OpenWebif is done for the responsive design.

In your OpenWebif ensure that you didn't check the "Use new design" tick box.

Hello, I did everything according to the recommendations and nothing, it did not give. After restoring the OpenPLi 7.0 version from November 12, 2018 everything works correctly, what can be seen in the picture. After updating OpenPLi 7.0 from November 16, 2018, there is no EPG. You have to be able to stay on the older version of your program,

On OpenPLi 7.0 of 12/11/2018 everything is ok but after updating 121 packages from 16/11/2018 all programs work well but EPG is missing.

As said, E2stream calls the web interface to retrieve EPG data, now data and next data.

We don't make the OpenWebIf, so we don't know what has changed there, so complain here: https://github.com/E...penWebif/issues

If you think we will stop moving forward because of some unmaintained almost 4 year old piece of samsung javascript, you're wrong.

Currently in use: VU+ Duo 4K (2xFBC S2), VU+ Solo 4K (1xFBC S2), uClan Usytm 4K Pro (S2+T2), Octagon SF8008 (S2+T2), Zgemma H9.2H (S2+T2)

Having said that, I don't see anything special in the E2stream code,and there are no recent commits in OpenWebIf that have any relation to EPG retrieval.

Do you have your webif configured for https and/or for authentication by any chance? Because E2Stream doesn't support those.

E2Stream calls:

http://<ip-box>/web/epgservice?sRef=1:0:19:5225:C99:3:EB0000:0:0:0:
http://<ip-box>/web/epgservicenow?sRef=1:0:19:5225:C99:3:EB0000:0:0:0:
http://<ip-box>/web/epgservicenow?sRef=1:0:19:5225:C99:3:EB0000:0:0:0:

to retrieve EPG data.

So pick a service reference your box can receive (this one is NPO1 HD on 23,5) and fill that in together with the IP of your box, and check the result in your browser. If that works then it's a problem of E2stream, if it doesn't work it's the config of your box.

As it works fine here, it is not related to either OpenPLi nor OpenWebif.

First of all, no one had a grudge against anyone and no one mentioned that you should stop creating something. You're trying to write some absurd here. Secondly, I write, this is the first time, that after the update of OpenPLi 7.0 on November 12, 2014, the plugin stopped working. Maybe you do not create OpenWeb, but you make it available in your plug-in software. Thirdly, I will write again that no one was complaining to anyone, and when writing a post I was looking for help in solving the problem and how I could not see such help, and I do not have any complaints. You behave as if you were eating all your senses, and I thought you were a cultured people, but you can see that if you overwhelm something, you can only throw and insult. In my country, to put it mildly, you would be called beets. Best wishes

It works here, so there is nothing wrong with OpenPLi. There may be something wrong on your box, I can't check that.

I've asked you to check and verify, I suggest you do that first instead of continue with your finger pointing?

Hi,

There is indeed a problem but it seems specific to this (group of) channel.

Here is the URL that I used for TVP1 HD:

http://ip_of_my_stb/...E:820000:0:0:0:

And here is the result

<e2eventlist>
<e2event>
<e2eventid>None</e2eventid>
<e2eventstart>0</e2eventstart>
<e2eventduration>0</e2eventduration>
<e2eventcurrenttime>0</e2eventcurrenttime>
<e2eventtitle>N/A</e2eventtitle>
<e2eventdescription/>
<e2eventdescriptionextended/>
<e2eventservicereference>1:0:1:3ABD:514:13E:820000:0:0:0:</e2eventservicereference>
<e2eventservicename>TVP 1 HD</e2eventservicename>
<e2eventgenre id="0"/>
</e2event>
</e2eventlist>

So the returned values are empty but on screen I also have EIT EPG properly display for this channel (I don't have Rytec since I cannot unscramble them and never watch them).

Hi,

I test on other channels from different providers where there is no Rytec EPG loaded only standard EIT EPG and same problem, the returned values are empty.

It seems to me that this query only works now on channel that gets the EPG populated by an external program, the standard EIT EPG now/next information is no longer returned.

I have no clue if it is an OpenPLi or OpenWebif problem.
