Hi All
i have a problem with Mp3 and Flac playing
the files are in my HDisk mounted to the dm500 - i can see the files and start to play
but every few seconds i get a freeze and then the music is continuing
the network looks fine and streaming is working without a problem
did any one know what is going on?

the 500 hasnt the best network performance
on the Glassfibre 1GB DVB-C...

How you set buffer constants for mounting ? Best is to use 8192 for both rsize, wsize. If this is not set well, playback mp3 is wrong on all boxes.

On my dm500 results are better with rsize=4096.

really 10x for your answers - it worked - i have changed the r/w size to 8192 and it is playing great
it looks like a buffer Draining problem - the net is to fast and the def buffer is not keeping with the speed
make sence?
